Most public health campaigns fail because they are badly measured, they use the wrong channels and often they don't have clear goals and calls to action. I am a specialist in public health behaviour change campaigns and I have worked in senior communications roles in London for 23 years. Recent projects I have led around topics including mental health and wellbeing, vaccinations and breast screening have won multiple national and global awards. They have been recognised because I have been able to demonstrate real outcomes, positively changing people's behaviour.
I am passionate about sharing the power of behavioural science and supporting public sector communications teams to run their own campaigns in-house and without breaking the bank. I understand how to go beyond vanity metrics and deliver campaigns which drive people to take action.
I currently split my time between working for NHS South East London ICB and providing training and consultancy support to other in-house communications teams. With support from CAN Digital I established the Public Health Communications Hub. I am Chartered by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
